General Policies
- Membership is restricted to one person from each profession/business. Our lead passing policy is defined as granting fellow members priority for new leads. Because of this, members cannot belong to another group with a so structured exclusivity policy.
- Annual membership fee is $50.00 due upon approval. The second year membership fee will be pro-rated so all memberships will be due January 1st.
- Visitors may attend 2 meetings prior to submitting their application for membership. The application will be emailed to each member for review. The membership committee is allowed 14 days to accept/decline each application.
- Only 6 absences per year. A reminder letter will be mailed after 4 absences. A non-attending member may be removed without refund if another person in the same profession wants to join.
- Officers hold their position for one year. Officers are:
- President – leads our meetings
- Vice President – represents IRG at events with other organizations; makes people aware of IRG
- Treasurer – collects membership dues and pays expenses
- Secretary – takes minutes at meetings; keeps attendance; tabulates referrals
- Membership committee (2 members)
#1 - posts applications to members; maintains current membership list
#2 - plans events to grow membership
- Officers will serve from January 1 to December 31. Election of officers will occur in November of the preceding year.
- At each meeting, members will report leads generated from the group. Anyone receiving a lead prior to the meeting will be responsible for reporting those leads at the next meeting.
- Business cards of all members will be available at each meeting.
- Meetings will be held the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month, and the 2nd Friday only in July, August, November and December.
- Policies and fees of the group are subject to change.
